APX CBI Program Operation

If you have replaced the controller board of an APX radio and you want to send it back to the customer, you have to perform the CBI Program operation to give the radio the default Serial Number. The customer will then enter the correct Serial Number which matches his warranty information in the CPS or Radio Management.

CBI Program Fields

The following fields are required:

• Job Name
• Current Serial Number - required only if the user selected the "No File" option. Otherwise, the user has to upload a .duf file or read a radio.
