APX Change Codeplug Operation

The Change Codeplug operation will change depot fields for a radio. You must read the radio or use a .duf file for this operation.
This operation will only change a field if the user enters a value for that field. Otherwise, the field will remain the same as in the radio.

The following fields (for some models or some codeplug versions additional fields may appear) are always editable using Change Codeplug:

New Serial Number

Enter a new Serial Number to change the radio Serial Number. Must follow the APX Serial Number format.

FlashCode

Enter a new FlashCode to change from the FlashCode contained in the .duf file. Must follow the APX FlashCode format.

Context Activation Holdoff Timer

Enter a value for the timer. This timer uses seconds as the unit. This value must be between 1 and 300.

Default Ready Timer

Enter a value for the timer. This timer uses seconds as the unit. This value must be between 1 and 255.

Radio Wide Protect Enabled

Change the Radio Wide Protect field. This is a True/False value.

Reset Radio Password

Click this check box to remove the radio password from the codeplug. Leaving it unchecked will preserve the password in the codeplug if the radio has one. Note that if the radio has a password, you will not be able to read the radio in CPS.

Allow Invalid Frequencies

If you click on the Allow Invalid Frequencies checkbox, you will able to enter invalid values into the Frequency Range Start and Frequency Range End fields for all bands

Model Tabs

Frequency Bands, Ranges, and Power Levels differ by ratio model and type. You should select one of the three tabs (Portable, Mobile, SRX2200) based on the type of the target radio:
