APX Upgrade Firmware Operation

The Depot Tool can upgrade a radio to a higher firmware version. Note that you must either read the radio or choose a previously created Depot Upload File (.duf) to upgrade the firmware.

Upgrade Firmware Fields

The following fields are required:

• Job Name
• New ASTRO Firmware
• Codeplug Version
• Codeplug Disclaimer Checkbox - The purpose of this checkbox is to make sure that you understand that a default codeplug will be written to the radio. If you do not wish to overwrite the codeplug, use CPS or Radio Management to upgrade the radio firmware.
