Installing the Depot Client Application

The Depot Client application must be installed onto your computer to read and write radios.


You can download the Depot Client application installer from the Depot Tool Website.
However, you must be a registered user of Depot Tool.
Once you have become a registered user, you can access the Depot Tool Website from this link: depot.radiocentral.motorolasolutions.com

You will then be taken to the Depot Website Home page where you will click on the "Download" button.


The Website will download a file named "Setup.exe" to the place of your choice on your computer.
Run this file and it will install the Depot Client application onto your computer.

Installing the Depot Client

Follow the instructions in the Setup.exe installation program.
If you have an earlier version of the Depot Client application, you do not have to uninstall it before installing the newer version.


Once you have completed the installation, the following icon will appear in your start menu:


Using the Depot Client

Click on the icon to run the Depot Client. The Depot Client has a built-in web browser, which navigates to the Depot Tool Website.
Thanks to it, it will be unnecessary for you to switch between the client application and the website to configure radios.
You can perform all radio programming activities from within the Depot Client application.
